Who are The Follies Girls? :

Founded in 2012 and Rebuilt in 2024, The Follies Girls (Knoxville's Unique Showgirls and Dancing Dames), are a dance-based, non-profit 501(c)3, performing arts organization dedicated to variety entertainment, education and empowering women in all stages of life. Basically we’re bold, beautiful and badass babes - nice to meet you!

What to Expect at a Show :

THE FOLLIES GIRLS SIGNATURE SHOWS
At our four big matinee shows each year, we bring you a ton of song and dance numbers, fabulous solos and loads of fun. These shows feature our ENTIRE cast of characters and feature performers of various levels, and as always in all ages and stages of life. We are Knoxville’s Unique Showgirls and Dancin’ Dames…and we’re totally fine being the imperfect Rockettes with a sexier and sassier side.

THE FOLLIES GIRLS present NIGHTCAP
Our intimate five times a year burlesque speakeasy experience is a bawdy romp full of fun and performances that will make you hoot, holler and sweat! These shows feature more solo performances and feature the art of burlesque striptease which has a rich history in America, Europe and frankly stretches back way farther than you’d expect. TICKETS for these shows sell out fast due to the intimate venue and experience and feature an early show and late show.

What are FOLLIES DOLLARS?

Quite simply…the prefered way to tip the performers at our shows. (Tipping is completely optional, but encouraged we’re just glad you’re here and happy to entertain you!)

If you’ve ever been to a show where performers are tipped, and you forgot to hit the ATM on your way to the show, or the dude at the gas station wouldn’t make change for a $20 dollar bill…we’ve been there - A LOT. Our show patrons, fans and friends encouraged us to find an easy way for them to tip when there’s a performance that just knocks their socks off and some people just don’t use CashApp or Venmo sooooo, our dearest ROXI TART suggested we offer FOLLIES DOLLARS for pick up at show check in. And brilliance like that is why we’re here!

You can purchase a stack of FOLLIES DOLLARS at the box office to pick up at your show check in, or you can purchase at show check in (we do also accept traditional dolla, dolla bills y’all as well as tipping through our QR codes, Venmo or CashApp); but honestly they are fun to wave around and have our “TIPsy TARTLET” pick them up during performances to spread that love and appreciation in monetary form onto our performers.

So grab some and as always thank you soooo much for supporting our art from the heart!

With Love from Nipsy & Vivi and the Entire Cast and Crew of The Follies Girls
