A solid grasp of various tap steps is essential, and for beginners, we provide an introductory class titled Beginners Tap Dance to help you catch up. This journey is all about embracing the joy of tap dancing, refining your abilities, and keeping your passion alive.<br><br>Open Level (Some tap experience required).

Tuesdays @ 6:30 PM = Charm the Chair

This class embraces the art of theatrical chair dancing, infusing it with elements of jazz dance to create a captivating performance. Designed for all body types, this class offers personalized adjustments to ensure everyone can participate comfortably. Thursdays @ 6:30 PM = Ballet to the Beat

This class blends the foundational elements of ballet, enhancing strength, definition, balance, and coordination, with the vibrant energy of pop, rock, and hip hop. It’s not your typical ballet barre, center and across the floor session; we embrace a playful twist on traditional techniques, acknowledging that as we age, our bodies need gentler approaches. Our modified Checcetti methodology ensures that every participant can engage joyfully and effectively.<br><br>Open Level

Fridays @ 6:30 PM = Funky Friday Dance Party

This class features various forms of jazz, funk, hip hop, street dance and club dance styles which also could be seen in music videos. Unwind and prepare for the weekend right with this fun and funky class.<br><br>Open Level.

Saturdays @ 9:00 AM = Ballet Barre & Center to the Beat

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental techniques and movements vital for learning and progressing in ballet, incorporating the Checetti method. Ballet is an art form that traces its roots back over 500 years to Italy. While ballet dancers are often seen as embodying elegance and grace, the discipline demands strength, balance, technical prowess, and flexibility. Essential movements such as pliés, arabesques, and pirouettes form the foundational vocabulary of ballet.<br><br>Ideal for beginner ballet students.

Saturdays @ 9:45 AM = Jazz Dance Warm Ups & Combinations

This course introduces the essential techniques and movements necessary for learning and progressing in jazz dance. It seamlessly blends African and European influences, emphasizing the art of improvisation. Tap dance is a lively and rhythmic dance form that produces sound through the striking of metal taps attached to the dancer&#39;s shoes. Originating in the 1600s, it gained significant popularity in America by the late 1800s and early 1900s. Known for its distinctive syncopated rhythms and the freedom of improvisation, tap dance is closely associated with jazz music, creating an energetic and engaging performance style.<br><br>Really good for absolute beginners or those needing a refresh on tap dance basics.

Dancer, Muse, Showgirl, Goddess: A Workshop Experience to Help YOU Connect with the Confident, Sexy, Sassy, Classy Woman Inside of You<br>- Saturday, March 8, 2025 - 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM<br>Taught by Anna Maria Terlinden Rogers<br>This 4 hour workshop experience is split into two sessions to help you explore the dancer, muse, showgirl, goddess inside of you.Get in touch with sides of yourself you may not let shine, and develop more confidence, channel your own charm, and tap into your own sense of sass, class and sexy.<br>It is not about them...it is about you.<br>And you deserve to connect with all parts of who you are inside.<br>Workshop is $40.00 per person = space is very limited.<br>Also available as a 2 Wednesday Nights option in February.
